Today, I tried logging into microsoft with this email and I only saw "This account does not exist". I believe my account was hacked and is now compromised. Please. I have already tried everything and my everything is on the line. I have proof that that account was mine. I have previous emails on this same email regarding microsoft prior to the email being changed. I have already been compromised once with this account. Please help me recover it once more.

When the message "This account does not exist" appears, it usually means the email address is not currently recognized as a Microsoft account.

Follow these steps based on the documented guidance:

    1. Confirm whether the email is still a Microsoft account
      • Go to https://account.microsoft.com and enter the email address.
      • If the page shows a password prompt, the email is still a Microsoft account.
      • If the message is "We couldn't find an account with that username" or "That Microsoft account doesn't exist," then that address is not currently an active Microsoft account. In that case:
        • Carefully check spelling (name and domain, for example name vs naame, .com vs .co.uk).
        • The account may have been closed. See the guidance under "The account may have been closed" in the article.
    2. If the email is recognized (password prompt appears) but sign‑in fails
      • Use Forgot password? on the sign‑in page and follow the reset flow.
      • If the usual verification options are not available or have been changed by an attacker, use the Sign-in Helper tool referenced in the article to troubleshoot sign‑in issues.
    3. If the email is not recognized as a Microsoft account
      • If the account was compromised and then closed or its aliases changed so that this email is no longer on it, the automated systems may no longer associate that email with a Microsoft account.
      • In that situation, the only supported path is the Microsoft account recovery process:
        • Use the Account recovery form from a device and location commonly used with the account.
        • Provide as much accurate information as possible (old passwords, billing details, services used, etc.).
      • If the form reports that the Microsoft account entered does not exist, verify the address again as in step 1. If it truly no longer exists or has been closed, there is no documented alternative method to restore it beyond what the automated recovery allows.
    4. If the account was hacked/compromised but is still accessible
      • First, clear all devices of malware using an up‑to‑date antivirus or Windows Defender (on Windows 8.1/10/11 run a full scan before changing passwords).
      • Then change the password immediately using the Change your password flow.
      • Review account security and mailbox settings such as connected accounts, forwarding, and automatic replies to remove anything the attacker added.
    5. If recovery fails repeatedly
      • When the recovery form or sign‑in helper cannot verify ownership, Microsoft support agents are not allowed to bypass these systems or manually reset consumer account details.
      • For linked services (for example, Xbox or Minecraft), contact those product‑specific supports separately to see if they can help with access to purchases or game entitlements, but this will not re‑create or override the Microsoft account itself.
