Unable to see my AZ-104 certificate or exam history in my azure learning credentials

I recently took the AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator exam through Pearson VUE and successfully passed the exam. However, I am unable to see the certification in my Microsoft Learn certification profile.

Additionally, when I check my certification dashboard, the exam history is not visible, which suggests that the exam result may not be linked correctly to my Microsoft certification profile.

I am logged into Microsoft Learn using the same Microsoft account that I believe was used to schedule and take the exam. Since the exam history itself is not appearing, I suspect there may be an issue with synchronization or with linking my Pearson VUE candidate profile to my Microsoft certification profile.

Could you please help verify whether the exam result is correctly associated with my Microsoft certification profile and assist in linking the exam record if necessary?

Exam results and certifications are surfaced through the Microsoft Learn profile and are sometimes missing when either the account is incorrect or the credential is not properly associated.

Take the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

    1. Confirm the exam result is available
      • For most exams, results are available within minutes but can take up to 24 hours to appear in the Certifications tab of the Learn profile.
      • Verify that the AZ-104 exam shows as passed in the Pearson VUE dashboard by following the steps in Exam scoring and score reports (for example, using the “View Score Report” option on the Pearson VUE site).
    2. Verify the correct Learn profile and login account
      • Go to the Learn profile.
      • Ensure sign-in is done with the same personal Microsoft account (MSA) that was used to schedule the exam.
      • If there might be multiple accounts (personal, work, school):
        • Try signing out and then signing in with any other Microsoft accounts that may have been used when registering for the exam.
        • The “Missing Exams or Certifications” guidance explicitly notes that using different accounts is a common cause of missing certifications.
    3. Check whether the credential appears anywhere in Learn
      • In the Learn profile, check:
        • Credentials → Certifications tab for the AZ-104 certification.
        • Transcript section for passed exams and active certifications.
      • If AZ-104 or its exam record does not appear in any of these views, it is likely not yet associated with the active Learn profile.
    4. Validate that the credential is not in a different profile
      • If a “congratulations” email was received, confirm which email address it was sent to and compare it with the Contact Email and sign-in account on the Learn profile. The email receiving the message is not always the same as the sign-in account, which can indicate that a different profile was used.
    5. If still missing, contact Microsoft Credentials Support
      • When the exam result and certification do not appear after verifying the correct account and waiting the normal processing time, the next step is to open a case with Microsoft Credentials Support so that support can:
        • Verify the Pearson VUE exam record.
        • Confirm the correct Microsoft certification profile.
        • Manually associate/link the exam record to the correct Learn profile if needed.
      • Use the guidance under Missing Exams or Certifications and Contact Support to reach Microsoft Credentials Support.

These steps align with the documented process for missing exams or certifications and for resolving profile/account linkage issues.
