I used to enjoy the Turbo quiz, polls and other methods to get points. These have been cut in half and some of them eliminated entirely. If y'all wanted me to reduce my engagement you could have just asked....

    Hi Macklyn

I get the frustration, a lot of long‑time Microsoft Rewards users feel the same way. When activities like Turbo quizzes and polls are reduced or removed, it really does feel like engagement is being discouraged rather than rewarded.

What Microsoft has stated publicly is that Microsoft Rewards activities, point values, and availability change over time by design. Quizzes, polls, and earning rates can be reduced, replaced, or removed altogether, and there isn’t usually a specific public explanation for individual items like Turbo quizzes being cut back. These adjustments fall under the program’s general terms, which allow Microsoft to change earning opportunities, limits, and offers at any time, often tied to program balancing, abuse prevention, or regional differences.

That said, your feedback is still important. If these changes have reduced your motivation to participate, the most effective thing you can do is submit direct feedback to the Rewards team so it’s logged and tracked:

    • Open the Microsoft Rewards dashboard
    • Click Help or Feedback
    • Choose Provide feedback and explain how the reductions have affected your engagement

Many users are voicing the same concern, and while changes aren’t always reversed, feedback is the only channel that reaches the team that actually designs the program.

Microsoft Rewards content, earning rates, and activities (like quizzes and polls) change over time by design. The program regularly adjusts:

    • Which activities are available (some can be removed or replaced).
    • How many points each activity is worth.
    • Daily and per‑device earning limits.

These changes are part of enforcing program policies and preventing abuse, as well as updating offers by region and time. For example, Microsoft can:

    • Limit searches or earning if patterns look like they are focused only on rapidly gaining points rather than normal use.
    • Adjust or remove activities to keep earning “in good faith” and within intended limits.

Nothing in the available documentation indicates a specific incident or public reason for the reduction in Turbo quiz or poll points; it is covered under the general right of the program to change earning opportunities, limits, and offers.

If current offers seem lower or fewer than before, that is consistent with the documented behavior that offers, redemption values, and earning rates vary over time and by region, and that Microsoft may limit or change how points are earned to protect the system from abuse.
