A program that grants points for using Bing search, which users can redeem for gift cards, sweepstakes entries, or charitable donations.
Hi Macklyn
I get the frustration, a lot of long‑time Microsoft Rewards users feel the same way. When activities like Turbo quizzes and polls are reduced or removed, it really does feel like engagement is being discouraged rather than rewarded.
What Microsoft has stated publicly is that Microsoft Rewards activities, point values, and availability change over time by design. Quizzes, polls, and earning rates can be reduced, replaced, or removed altogether, and there isn’t usually a specific public explanation for individual items like Turbo quizzes being cut back. These adjustments fall under the program’s general terms, which allow Microsoft to change earning opportunities, limits, and offers at any time, often tied to program balancing, abuse prevention, or regional differences.
That said, your feedback is still important. If these changes have reduced your motivation to participate, the most effective thing you can do is submit direct feedback to the Rewards team so it’s logged and tracked:
- Open the Microsoft Rewards dashboard
- Click Help or Feedback
- Choose Provide feedback and explain how the reductions have affected your engagement
Many users are voicing the same concern, and while changes aren’t always reversed, feedback is the only channel that reaches the team that actually designs the program.
