MS Certification transfer between accounts

Certification records cannot be directly “transferred” between two different Microsoft accounts by users, but certifications and learning progress from multiple Microsoft Learn profiles can be merged into a single profile if certain conditions are met.

To consolidate certifications under one Learn profile:

1. Decide which email/account should be the primary one for the final, merged Learn profile (for example, ******@teamrockstars.nl).
2. Sign in to Microsoft Learn with that primary account.
3. Go to login account management in the Learn profile and choose Add login account.
4. Add the other account (for example, ******@allbznz.com) as an additional login.
5. If that second login is associated with a different Learn profile, this will trigger a profile merge. All learning progress, credentials, and transcripts from the second profile will be merged into the currently signed-in profile, and duplicates will be removed.

Important notes:

• Only one of the profiles involved in the merge may contain a personal Microsoft login account.
• After merging, it is still possible to sign in with all login accounts that were on both profiles, but all data will now live in a single merged profile.
• Merging profile data cannot be undone.
• If the combined profiles exceed the limit of five work or school login accounts, the merge will be canceled and that limit must be resolved before trying again.
• If certifications still appear to be missing after confirming the correct profile and performing a merge, contact Microsoft Credentials Support for additional assistance: Microsoft Credentials Support.

If any of the certifications were earned through Certiport, they will not appear in the Microsoft Learn profile and must be managed separately through the Certiport account.
