Dp-700 certification

To resolve a missing DP-700 certification and certificate, follow these steps:

1. Verify the exam and certification in Microsoft Learn
   • Sign in to Microsoft Learn using the same account used when registering for DP-700: https://learn.microsoft.com/
   • Select the profile name (top-right) → Profile → Credentials → Certifications.
   • Check whether the DP-700 exam and the Fabric Data Engineering Associate certification appear. If they do, the certificate and badge can be accessed from there.
2. Confirm the correct account is being used
   • If there are multiple Microsoft accounts (personal, work, school), the exam may be associated with a different profile.
   • Try signing in with any other accounts that might have been used when booking the exam and check the Certifications tab again, as described in Missing Exams or Certifications.
3. If the certification or exam is still missing, contact Microsoft Credentials Support
   • Use the dedicated credentials support channel to investigate missing certifications or certificates:
     • Go to https://aka.ms/credentialssupport.
     • Sign in with the account used for the exam.
     • Click Continue and complete the required contact details, then Save.
     • Open https://aka.ms/credentialssupport again; it will auto-select Product Family: Learning and Service: Microsoft Credentials.
     • Fill in the support request form (include exam DP-700, date of completion, and that the certification is not visible on the dashboard and no certificate email was received) and submit.
   • This team can check exam delivery, profile linkage, and manually correct or reissue missing credentials.
4. If the exam was taken under the wrong account and needs to be merged
   • If it is discovered that the DP-700 exam is on a different Learn profile, certifications can sometimes be consolidated by linking accounts, as described in the account-merge guidance from Microsoft Q&A:
     • Use a school/work Learn profile as a bridge to transfer certifications between personal profiles (add one profile under Settings → Login account management → Linked accounts, wait for the green confirmation banner, then remove and re-link as needed).
   • If this is complex or access to a school/work profile is not available, include this detail in the ticket to Microsoft Credentials Support so they can advise on options.

If the certificate has been missing for several months or longer, going directly through Microsoft Credentials Support is the recommended and supported path to resolution.
