Take discount for my student account

To receive a student discount and ensure the DP-700 exam discount is applied, two things are required: identifying as a student in the certification profile and completing academic verification.

1. Sign in to the Microsoft Learn profile that should receive the discount.
2. Open the Interest Survey: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/users/me/settings/interests
3. In the survey, select Career Paths.
4. Choose Student as the career path.
5. Complete the rest of the survey and select Finished.

This marks the profile as a student. After academic status is verified, academic pricing is applied automatically during exam registration in eligible countries/regions (except India and China).

To use the discount when scheduling DP-700:

1. On the DP-700 exam page, select Schedule exam.
2. Sign in with the same Microsoft Learn profile that is marked and verified as a student.
3. In the Transfer to Pearson VUE dialog, confirm address and contact information and continue to Pearson VUE.
4. On the Pearson VUE checkout page, any eligible student discount is applied automatically to the price.

If the student discount does not appear, or if changing the profile to student still fails, contact Credentials Support for help with student discounts and academic verification issues.
