Hello

I am trying to deploy the OpenAI gpt-realtime model but it says Insufficient quota for selected options. While some of my acquaintance's does not run through this kind of problem.

The error “Insufficient quota for selected options” usually means that the Azure subscription does not currently have enough quota allocated for the selected Azure OpenAI model or region.

Azure OpenAI quotas are assigned per subscription, per region, and per model. Some models, such as the GPT Realtime models, have limited availability and require quota approval before deployment.

You can try the following steps:

Check the quota in the Azure portal by navigating to your Azure OpenAI resource and opening the Quota section to see if the selected model has available capacity.

If the quota is not available, submit a quota increase request through the Azure portal or by using the Azure OpenAI quota request form.

Verify that you are deploying the model in a supported region. Some models are only available in specific regions.

If you are requesting a large deployment size, try deploying with a smaller capacity first.

If others are able to deploy the model without this issue, it is likely that their subscription already has the required quota allocated.

Last March 7, I received an automated email from Microsoft that they are upgrading my tier to tier 1 in three days. But now, I still do not have the access for quotas equivalent to tier 1 as per their quota limitations documentation
