Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
For Microsoft 365/Office business subscription, account, and billing issues, the most reliable way to reach a human agent is to start from the online support entry point and then choose chat or phone callback.
For a business subscription admin:
- Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center and sign in with the admin account.
- Select Support > Help and support.
- Enter a brief description of the issue (for example, “billing problem” or “subscription charge”).
- Select Contact support.
- Confirm the product/category, then choose one of the available options:
- Chat with a support agent (live person in the browser), or
- Call me back / phone option if shown, and provide a phone number so support can call directly.
If not an admin or cannot access the admin center, use the general support entry point and then escalate to a person:
- Go to Contact Microsoft Support via this link: Contact us.
- Describe the problem and proceed through Get help.
- When prompted with support options, choose chat or callback/phone where available.
If the issue is specifically with Microsoft Store–billed subscriptions or charges:
- Start at Help with Microsoft Store purchases: Help with Microsoft Store purchases.
- Use the Get help button for guided support, which can connect to chat or a call request.
- If still needed, scroll to the regional list on that page or use Customer service phone numbers to find a country/region-specific number.
If phone menus are looping back to web URLs, using the admin center Support > Help and support (for business tenants) or the web Contact us entry point and selecting Call me back is the most direct way to get a live person.
