A cloud-based identity and access management service for securing user authentication and resource access
I could not login to an Azure portal because it requests an approval from the Authenticator app.
Hello,
I used Azure with a personal account for at least 2 years. Recently I could not login to an Azure portal because it requests an approval from the Authenticator app. The Authenticator app does not show notifications. One-time password in the Authenticator app is 8 digits long like it should be for a personal account. But Azure expects a 6 digits long password. No other sign-in methods are available for MFA. I have lost access to my Azure account. I tried many ways to fix it: I reinstalled the Authenticator app, removed/added an account, used different devices for login. This should qualify as a tenant lockout scenario.
How do I contact Azure support, if creating a support request requires successful login? How do I contact Microsoft Data Protection Team?
