Answer 1

The Renew button only appears when the certification is within its eligible renewal window. Renewal is available starting six months before the certification’s expiration date and only during that period. If the certification has not yet entered that six‑month window, the Renew button will not be shown.

To verify eligibility and renew when available:

Sign in to the Microsoft Learn profile.
Select the photo avatar and choose Profile.
Open Certifications and scroll through the list.
When the certification is within six months of expiring, a blue Renew button will appear next to it. Use that button to launch the free online renewal assessment.

If the certification has already expired, it cannot be renewed and must be earned again by passing the required exam(s).
