Card Not Accepted for 30 Day Azure Free Trial

Hello.

I've not been able to add any VISA or MasterCard. I have tried 3-4 Domestic and International cards(Debit and Credit) and they mostly give me this error no matter the card details and their accuracy.

The details entered(not visible here for security reasons but I ensure you they are filled) are all accurate.

Please help.

Hello Manasa Ganji, it sounds like Azure is declining your cards during that final identity-by-card step. Here are the most common reasons and what you can try:

Use a non-prepaid, non-virtual card • Azure doesn’t accept prepaid or virtual-only cards. Make sure it’s a physical Visa or MasterCard (non-prepaid).

Check regional support and international transactions • Some regions (for example, Hong Kong and Brazil) only allow credit cards, and India only supports Visa/MasterCard (no AmEx). • Contact your bank to ensure your card is enabled for international transactions.

Match name, address, CVV and country exactly • The cardholder name, billing address (including country) and CVV must match exactly what your bank has on file. • Make sure the country you select in the “About you” section matches your billing address country.

Don’t reuse a card that’s already tied to a prior Azure free trial • Azure free trials are limited to one per person. If you’ve ever had an Azure subscription (including a free trial), you can’t sign up again with that same card.

Try a different browser or an Incognito/InPrivate window • Occasionally browser cookies or extensions block the verification flow—trying a clean session can help.
