Hello everyone

I recently joined the Windows 11 beta channel and tried to connect to my LG NanoCell TV with Cast, but the TV shows that it is connecting and then disconnects after about 30 seconds

I tried all the possible solutions on the internet and YouTube but none of them solved my problem

If you can help me, how can I solve my problem

Thanks

    Hi Sina,

I use Casting You Tube all the time from the Edge

    browser to my TV's.

    Please provide more details.

Follow these steps in order, testing Cast after each step:

    1. Install all Windows updates
      • Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update.
      • Select Check for updates and install everything offered, then restart.
    2. Verify Miracast support and Wi‑Fi
      • Press Windows logo key + K.
        • If a message appears saying an external display must be connected with a cable, the PC does not support Miracast.
      • Select the Network icon on the taskbar and make sure Wi‑Fi is turned on.
    3. Check that the TV supports Miracast and is ready to connect
      • Confirm the LG TV’s wireless display / Miracast / Screen Share feature is enabled and the TV is in the correct input or mode for wireless display.
      • Keep the PC within about 7 m (23 ft) of the TV.
    4. Remove and re-add the wireless display
      • Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices.
      • Under Wireless displays & docks, select the LG TV (or wireless adapter name) and choose Remove device.
      • Go back to Bluetooth & devices, select Add device > Wireless display or dock, and select the TV again.
    5. Update display and Wi‑Fi drivers
      • Press Windows key, type device manager, open Device Manager.
      • Expand Display adapters, right-click the graphics adapter (for example, Intel HD Graphics) and, if needed, use the OEM’s tool (such as Lenovo/HP/Dell update utility) to install the latest graphics driver.
      • Expand Network adapters, right-click the Wi‑Fi adapter (for example, Intel® Wi‑Fi AX200/AX201, Qualcomm Atheros, Marvell AVASTAR) and ensure the latest driver is installed from the PC or adapter manufacturer.
      • If connection problems persist, try reinstalling:
        • Right-click the Wi‑Fi adapter > Uninstall.
        • Restart with Start > Power > Restart.
        • After restart, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Add device > Wireless display or dock and reconnect to the TV.
    6. Power-cycle and reset the wireless side
      • Restart the PC and power the TV off and back on.
      • If using a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter with the TV instead of built‑in Miracast:
        • Confirm HDMI and USB are firmly connected and powered as described in the adapter guidance.
        • If issues continue, remove the adapter from the TV, restart the PC, plug the adapter back in, and try casting again.
    7. If projecting to another Windows PC instead of the TV
      • On the target PC, install and enable the Wireless Display optional feature and configure Settings > System > Projecting to this PC so it is discoverable.

If, after these steps, the LG TV still connects then drops after ~30 seconds on the Dev/Beta build but works from other devices or from a stable Windows build, capture feedback and logs and report it through the Feedback Hub app, as this may be a regression in the Insider build.
