In Classic Outlook for Windows, the compose window header (From/To/Subject fields) suddenly renders in a very small font. Body text is normal. Scaling is 100%. Office repair did not fix it. This started after a recent update.

Hi! Sorry to hear that you have trouble les with this situation, could you please share a screenshot of how this looks please?

Please, test Outlook in Safe Mode Press Windows + R, type outlook /safe, and open a new message. If the header looks normal there, a COM add-in is likely involved

Well, not sure why you send me to these answers when my problems directly deals with "chaning or resetting font size specifically for the compose window header (From/To/Subjectr in classic Outlook. When yiu can effectively answer those questions 1) why did the update affect the header fonts and 2) what is the fix, then please let me know. I wasted enormous amounts of time trying to fix it, and more time trying to signin to Microsoft to get support which seems you have barred with not accepting the signin except to my Account/Profile page. So disappointing ......

There could be different reasons why this is happening, which is why I requested a screenshot so I can better understand the issue. Also, starting Outlook in Safe Mode can provide useful clues, since it loads Outlook without add-ins and can help identify the cause of the problem.

I am having the same issue, and have increased the font size of my system as well as rows and columns in Outlook (classic), but it had no impact at all on the font in the "to" and "subject" fields. I've attached a screen shot of what I see, and it's clear that the font in the "to" and "subject fields are a fraction of the font size in the email body. I'd like it larger please, I can't see the little dots.

I understand that you have the same or similar issue to the one discussed in this thread. But you will probably not get any help by adding to an old post.

I would suggest that you start a new thread using the "Ask a question" button at the top of this page to create a new Question and include the details for your specific problem and what steps you have already tried to fix it.
