for me- doesn't PEP require a single Ip for creation?

Yes, you are correct — one private IP address is sufficient for a standard Private Endpoint. However, the subnet must contain at least 20 available IP addresses when creating a Private Endpoint for a target sub-resource such as a Backup Vault.

Although a standard Private Endpoint consumes only one IP address, Azure Backup (Recovery Services Vault / Backup Vault) internally reserves multiple IP addresses for:

Internal service components
Scaling operations
Future allocations

To resolve the issue, please create a subnet with at least a /27 address range (32 total IP addresses, 27 usable).

I also attempted to create a Private Endpoint using a /27 subnet with only 11 available IP addresses, and I encountered the same error.
