Azure billing issue - SLA expectation after Microsoft confirms billing fault

We have an open Azure billing support case where Microsoft support has already confirmed that the incorrect charges were caused by a billing fault on Microsoft's side.

However, despite this confirmation, the case has now been pending for over three months without billing correction, or clear resolution timeline.

We would like to seek clarification on the following SLA-related points:

  1. Once Microsoft confirms that a billing issue is caused by a Microsoft-side fault, is there an official SLA or target timeline for billing correction or refund processing.
  2. After fault confirmation, is there a defined billing escalation process or dedicated escalation team that should take ownership of such cases?
  3. For cases that remain unresolved for an extended period (e.g. over 3 months), what is the recommended escalation path to ensure timely resolution and accountability?

We would appreciate guidance from Microsoft moderators or billing specialists on the standard handling and SLA expectations for this type of scenario.

Thank you for your assistance.
