Azure Data Share showing 'Queued' status for ~2 days

I've recently setup Data Share to share data of a storage account from one environment to another. The status is in Queued state for 2+ days. I can see some data though at the destination. How do I know if/when it completes?

When an Azure Data Share snapshot shows a Queued status for a long time while some data is already visible at the destination, it usually relates to how the service processes snapshot jobs rather than indicating a failure.Azure Data Share runs snapshots asynchronously and schedules the work internally. The status shown in the portal reflects the overall snapshot job orchestration, not the progress of individual files or datasets. Because the service transfers data in batches, it’s possible for data to start appearing at the destination even while the snapshot run is still listed as Queued or processing. To understand whether it is progressing, you can open the Share Subscription History section in the portal and review the snapshot run details and dataset status, which is the supported way to monitor execution.

If a snapshot remains queued for an extended time, this can be influenced by factors such as dataset size, service scheduling, or storage throughput conditions, and it does not necessarily mean the operation has failed. To further validate activity, you can review the snapshot history, trigger a manual synchronization to observe behavior, and check Azure Monitor diagnostic logs for the Data Share account to see detailed run activity and any reported errors.
