I down load a court calendar from the web and convert it to Excel. The problem is that it has multiple tables within the spreadsheet with multiple row heights, some cells have multiple lines, others are one line per cell. Is there an easier way to make it uniform? Right now I go in and retype, copuy/paste so that each cell only has 1 line

To make your Excel spreadsheet more uniform after converting a court calendar from HTML, you can follow these steps:

    1. Adjust Row Heights: You can select all rows by clicking the triangle in the top-left corner of the sheet (between row numbers and column letters) and then right-click on any row number to choose "Row Height". Set a uniform height for all rows.
    2. Wrap Text: If you want to ensure that each cell only has one line, you can select all cells (same method as above), then go to the "Home" tab, and in the "Alignment" group, click on "Wrap Text" to toggle it off. This will make sure that text does not wrap into multiple lines within a cell.
    3. Clear Formatting: If there are inconsistencies in cell formatting, you can clear all formatting by selecting the cells, right-clicking, and choosing "Clear Formats". After that, you can reapply your desired formatting.
    4. Use Find and Replace: If there are specific line breaks within cells, you can use the Find and Replace feature (Ctrl + H) to find line breaks (you can enter them by holding Alt and typing 010 on the numeric keypad) and replace them with a space or nothing, depending on your preference.
    5. Copy and Paste Special: If you find that some cells still have multiple lines, you can copy the content of those cells and paste it into a new cell using "Paste Special" > "Values" to strip any formatting that might be causing the issue.

These steps should help you achieve a more uniform layout in your Excel spreadsheet without the need for extensive retyping or manual adjustments.
