how to fix rdp to server hosted in azure.

I am trying to rdp from my vdi to this server using entra id but connection is not working and throwing error below.

Check the required Entra ID prerequisites on the VM: the VM must be Entra ID–joined, have the AADLoginForWindows extension installed, and your user must be assigned Virtual Machine User Login or Virtual Machine Administrator Login on the VM (IAM). If any of these are missing, Entra‑based RDP will fail.

Validate sign‑in path and policies: use a supported RDP client with “Use a web account to sign in” (or AzureAD\user@domain), ensure port 3389 is allowed in the NSG, and exclude the “Microsoft Azure Windows Virtual Machine Sign‑in” app from MFA/CA policies if MFA is enforced (this commonly breaks Entra RDP).
