To reconnect your Microsoft Hosted Exchange email account to Outlook using ActiveSync, it's important to note that Outlook does not support connections to Exchange using the ActiveSync protocol. Instead, you should connect using the standard Exchange connection settings.

Here are the steps you can follow to resolve the issue:

    1. Check Connection Settings: Ensure that you are using the correct server settings for your Hosted Exchange account. You may need to refer to your email provider's documentation for the exact settings.
    2. Add Email Account to Outlook: Follow the instructions for adding an email account to Outlook. You can find detailed guidance on how to do this in the Microsoft support documentation.
    3. Use Exchange Connection: Make sure to select the option to connect using the standard Exchange connection method rather than ActiveSync.
    4. Troubleshoot Connectivity: If you continue to experience issues, consider using the Exchange Remote Connectivity Analyzer to test your connection and diagnose any potential problems.

If you need further assistance, you may want to consult with your email provider or Microsoft support for more specific troubleshooting steps.
