    As a workaround, what I usually do is move or copy the album’s photos into a regular folder or open them under the Photos tab in OneDrive, then use the Play slideshow option from there instead. This works well if your main goal is simply to view the pictures as a slideshow

    May I ask what you’re mainly trying to do with the slideshow.

    Are you planning to show these photos to other people, such as in a meeting, class, or family gathering?

    Or are you just viewing them for yourself on your Mac for personal use?

    OneDrive has no slideshow option to automatically advance the display of pictures in an Album or in folders. The pictures in an Album have to be advanced manually.
