Can I use Passkey when multiple users use the same computer?

We have employees on the shop floor that all access the same computer to log into their timesheets. They do not sign in separately to the computer, but use the one login to the computer. The timesheet provider is now requiring Passkey as the authentication method. Are we able to create a Passkey for each employee, using the same computer, to securely log into their timesheet?

If that is the case, you won’t be able to create multiple Passkeys under one Windows account. Passkeys are per‑user, not per‑device. If you continue with one shared account, you’ll only ever have one Passkey, and all employees would be indistinguishable to the system.
