To sign up for a Microsoft account as a school teacher, you can follow these steps:
- Create a Microsoft Account: Go to the Microsoft account creation page at https://account.microsoft.com. Use your personal email address (like Outlook or Gmail) to create your account.
- Join Microsoft Learn for Educators (MSLE): After creating your Microsoft account, you can join the Microsoft Learn for Educators program. Here’s how:
- Go to the Microsoft Learn for Educators Program and select "Sign up".
- Sign in with your newly created Microsoft account.
- Complete the profile creation process, ensuring you use your school email address when prompted for your institution email.
- Verify Your Email: After creating your profile, check your school email for a verification email from Microsoft Vetting Services. Follow the instructions in that email to verify your school email address.
- Complete Your Profile: Once your email is verified, you can complete your profile by selecting your language, country, and answering any additional questions.
If you encounter issues during the sign-up process, such as your institution email domain not being recognized, you may need to create a support ticket through the MSLE portal for further assistance.
