Copilot Data

When you use Microsoft 365 Copilot, the data you input is not shared with everyone. Copilot only accesses data that you are authorized to view, and it does not override existing access controls or expose unauthorized content. This means that your interactions are kept secure and private within the scope of your permissions.

Regarding logging for organizational activity, Microsoft 365 provides detailed audit logs through Microsoft Purview. These logs track all user interactions with Copilot, including prompts and responses, which can be reviewed by administrators to ensure compliance and security. This functionality is available even for organizations with a Microsoft 365 Government license.
