Trying to log into one drive app android. App keeps changing my username so I cannot log in

I try to login with my username email address removed for privacy reasons

It keeps changing my username to email address removed for privacy reasons and I then I can no longer login. I'm a bit confused about my account aliases here as email address removed for privacy reasons and email address removed for privacy reasons should be different aliases for the same account but somehow the password for them are different or something as I can login using email address removed for privacy reasons but not email address removed for privacy reasons for onedrive on PC.

Could you please confirm if this issue happens on both OneDrive Desktop and the OneDrive mobile app?
As your post is tagged under Education, could you please confirm whether this account is a school-provided account (work or school account) or a personal Microsoft account?
Could you please provide the affected email address(es) along with screenshots showing the sign-in issue via Private Message? I have sent you a private message, which you can easily find at the top of the thread.

Once we have this information, we will be able to provide more targeted troubleshooting steps.

No this issue only occurs on android.

This is a school provided account, provided by the university of waterloo. The affected email addresses are @uwaterloo.ca and @uwaterloo.ca were you the person that asked me to send a personal message to?

Thank you for the update.

Before we proceed further, please try the basic troubleshooting steps below on your Android device, as this can help clear any cached sign-in information that may be causing the issue:

Open the OneDrive app and sign out.

Go to Device Settings > Accounts, remove the work or school account associated with your university email address.

Restart your device.

Open the OneDrive app again and sign in using the primary email address provided by your university.

Please also make sure that the OneDrive app is updated to the latest version from the Google Play Store.

In addition, you mentioned that screenshots were attached earlier. At the moment, for some reasons that I’m not seeing any screenshots on my end. When you have a chance, could you please share the screenshots showing the sign-in behavior via Private Message?
