Shared devices show multiple logins and have to scroll to bottom

Authenticator App Issue:
- Concern about shared devices showing many accounts and “Add account” button appearing at the bottom.
- Current limitation: Accounts must be manually removed; no automated cleanup exists.

Is there anyway to purge? Could Add account be on top instead of bottom? What would be the max # of logins and how would that affect performance?

Currently, Microsoft Authenticator lacks an automatic or bulk purge feature. It is necessary to manually delete each account individually or by clearing or resetting the app, which eliminates every account on the device. Microsoft advises against sharing devices or allowing users to reset or reinstall apps on the same device.

The location of the "Add account" button The position (at the bottom) is set by design. Moving "Add account" to the top or altering the UI layout are not supported.

There isn't a hard cap on the quantity of accounts. Although the software can theoretically support dozens of accounts, shared devices are not supported in this scenario.

As the number of accounts rises: Scrolling and app startup may be slow. Confusion among users and the chance of miss election rise On shared devices, security and usability deteriorate dramatically.

Authenticator is intended for personal, single-user devices. Regarding shared devices: Make use of transient gadgets Reset the app or device in between users Alternatively, use several ways to log in (e.g., FIDO2 keys issued per user).
