I would like to change my display name as per legal name. Could you please help on this

To change a Legal Name on a Microsoft Account, log into this link, there you should be able to change the Legal Name:

After changing your name it will take some time for the new name to be propagated down to all Microsoft Services you use.

Open Microsoft Edge on your Android device and go to your Microsoft account.

Log in with your email and password if prompted.

Tap on the Your info tab (usually found in the top navigation menu or sidebar).

Look for the Edit name link next to your current display name (Krishna.vema).

Enter Vema in the First Name field. Enter Krishna Chaitanya in the Last Name field (or distribute them as you prefer to match your ID).

Enter the CAPTCHA code if requested and tap Save.

Notes:

It can take up to 24 hours for the new name to change across all Microsoft services (like Outlook, Teams, or Windows).

If the name doesn't update in the Edge browser immediately, try signing out of your profile in the Edge settings and signing back in to force a sync.
