I've updated to the latest windows insider build, the dev channel, (tried them all actually) FSE never shows up as an option under settings, gaming -

Any ideas?

The Full Screen Experience feature is specifically designed for certain device types and usage scenarios. When Windows doesn’t detect a supported setup, the FSE settings are automatically hidden from the Gaming section. This helps keep the Settings experience relevant to the device you’re using.

You can confirm everything is working as intended with these short steps:

Open Settings > Gaming.
Review available options
If Full screen experience isn’t listed, it means it’s not currently available for this device configuration.

Hi, thanks for the response. You mean it is not available for laptops? Because that is what I am using.

On current Windows Insider Dev Channel builds, the Full Screen Experience (FSE) option isn’t expected to appear on most laptops. This experience is designed for specific device scenarios, and Windows only shows the setting when the system meets those criteria. On laptops and standard PCs, the option stays hidden so that the Gaming settings remain relevant to the device you’re using.

If the Full Screen Experience (FSE) is not showing up under settings in your Windows Insider build, here are a few things you can check:

Ensure FSE is Supported: Make sure that your device supports the Full Screen Experience feature. This feature is available on gaming handhelds and may not be available on all devices.
Check Windows SDK Version: Developers wanting to access FSE features need to use a version of the Windows SDK that is 10.0.26100.3916 or later. Ensure that your development environment meets this requirement.
Check for Updates: Sometimes, features may not appear if your system is not fully updated. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and select Check for Updates to ensure you have the latest build.
