Access Recovery for My Microsoft Entra ID - Suddenly Forced to Enter a Code but I Never Set MFA Up

Hello,

I need help recovering my account.

What happened:

I was trying to publish Power BI dashboards so that I could embed them into my website. However, I first needed to edit the tenant permissions (I am the sole operator using a domain email). After connecting my website within the TXT information that Microsoft provided, it suddenly logged me out, and I haven't been able to log back in since.

Current situation:

Every time I enter my username and password, it then says to enter a code on the authenticator app, but I never set this up to begin with! Now I'm locked out because from my understanding, you need to be logged in in the first place to set up MFA. I have a different personal account that is still fine, but I need my organizational domain to work because of its functionality with Power BI.

Everywhere I looked to get support, the information is either useless, or I have to sign in to get chat support, but I can't sign in...

Some advice says to ask your IT team, but once again, I am the solo operator of my organization.

Is there a way I can get help fixing this and recovering my account?

Thanks, I appreciate the help.
