Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum and sharing your experience. I understand how concerning it can be to see an unexpected charge, especially when no recent subscription changes were made.
For Microsoft 365 business subscriptions, billing issues like unexpected or off‑cycle charges can only be reviewed securely by the Microsoft Billing & Support team, as they require access to your tenant’s billing details. Please follow these steps using a Global Administrator account:
- To create a support ticket, please go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
- In the bottom‑left corner, select Help & Support to open the Support Assistant panel.
- In the text box, type “request an agent to contact me via email or phone” and press Enter.
- At the bottom‑left of the panel, select the blue Contact Support link.
- Choose your preferred contact method (Email or Phone).
- Complete the contact form and describe your situation in detail so the support team has enough information to assist you.
- Select Contact me to submit the request.

The billing support team will be able to confirm what the charge is related to (such as a renewal, prorated adjustment, tax update, or billing profile change) and advise on next steps if any correction is needed.
