WHQL guideline on kernel driver packing/obfuscation

I'm currently in the process of obtaining WHQL certification for an anti-malware/EDR kernel driver.
During the submission process, we were informed that we can no longer protect our driver using packing or obfuscation due to a 2025 WHQL policy change. However we never received any notification and can't find any documentation online. We would appreciate any insights on this matter, specifically regarding how we can effectively protect our driver while still meeting the requirements for WHQL certification. Also if there's any official guideline that we can follow.
