I understand that InfoPath Forms will be out of support starting July 14, 2026.

We currently have an InfoPath-based application hosted on SharePoint Server 2019, and our environment is in the process of being upgraded to SharePoint Server Subscription Edition. The application itself is not very complex, but due to current timelines and priorities, we do not have the bandwidth to rewrite or migrate it to an alternative solution immediately.

My questions are:

  1. What exactly happens after the July 14, 2026 support end date?

Will existing InfoPath forms continue to function on SharePoint Server Subscription Edition?

  • Is the impact limited to a lack of support/security fixes, or is there a risk that the forms will break or become unusable?

    There is a product/service for this. Its Called Form Migrator from Horton Scientific. It works well to move from InfoPath to Power Apps.
