Dear @Jake La Jeunesse,
Good day. Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!
First of all, I’m sorry you’re having a problem and for the situation you encountered, I deeply understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.
As you can see, the answer provided by Q&A Assist, I’d like to clarify the behavior you’re seeing with recurring Microsoft Teams channel meetings.
Currently, this is expected behavior in Microsoft Teams. Recurring meetings scheduled in a Teams channel are only added to the personal calendars of members who were part of the team at the time the meeting series was created. When new members join the team later, previously scheduled recurring channel meetings do not automatically appear in their personal Outlook or Teams calendars.
However, new members can still view and join these meetings directly from the channel. As a workaround forward the meeting series to newly added members.
At this time, there is no built‑in option to automatically sync existing recurring channel meetings to the personal calendars of members who join later.
