Login to Azure, then go to Entra ID. Add user -> Invite External user.
Then since Dec 2025, when inviting new guest users, they are NOT receiving Invite Emails, nor are we receiving the CC when entering our email there.

I added myself with my personal email this morning, and another email for CC, and did not receive the cc, or the invite.

We are thus unable to invite new users to use our portal for our customers.

We have to resort to re-inviting a 'pending accepted' user, then copy the link, and send the link manually. This is very unprofessional, and has been working for years, but suddenly stopped working Dec for our subscription.

It seems you are experiencing issues with inviting external users through Microsoft Entra ID, particularly with the invite emails not being sent. Here are a few troubleshooting steps and considerations:

    1. Check External Collaboration Settings: Ensure that your organization's external collaboration settings are properly configured to allow inviting external users. You can verify this in the Azure portal under Microsoft Entra ID > Users > User settings > External users.
    2. Permissions: Make sure that your account has the necessary permissions to invite external users. You should be a member of the Project Collection Administrators group or have similar permissions.
    3. Email Delivery Issues: Sometimes, invite emails may end up in spam or junk folders. Ensure that the email addresses you are using are correct and check those folders.
    4. Review Policies: Check if there are any policies that might be blocking the invitations. For instance, if the external guest access is turned off, you will not be able to invite new users.
    5. Delay in Changes: If you have recently modified any settings related to external collaboration, there may be a delay (15-60 minutes) before the changes take effect.
    6. Cross-Tenant Access Settings: If you see messages indicating that invitations are blocked due to cross-tenant access settings, consult your administrator to review and adjust these settings.

If the problem persists, you may want to reach out to Microsoft support for further assistance, as there could be specific issues related to your subscription or tenant settings that need to be addressed.
