Windows 11 randomly freezes. No BSOD, no errors

My Windows 11 PC freezes randomly with no BSOD and no error messages. When it happens, the system becomes completely unresponsive, and I have to hold the power button to shut it down.

The freeze happens without any warning. I checked Event Viewer, but I can’t see any errors or critical events at the time of the freeze (for example, around 2:57 PM when it last happened). This issue started around 2 weeks ago. It mostly happens randomly during normal usage.

Before contacting here, I already tested the following:

  1. RAM:
    • Windows Memory Diagnostic → Passed
    • MemTest86 → Passed
  2. SSD:
    • CrystalDiskMark → Normal
    • Samsung Magician → No issues
  3. CPU & GPU:
    • Prime95 (CPU) and FurMark (GPU) running at the same time
    • I also monitored the 12V rail to check for voltage drops (it never went below 11.5V)
    • The system was completely stable during stress testing

My GPU and PSU are almost new (about 6 months old):

  • GPU: RTX 5070 Ti
  • PSU: Corsair RM1000x

Even after all these tests passing, Windows still freezes randomly during normal usage. At this point I am not sure what to do.

What is the model of your motherboard?

Did you start having these problems after a Windows update?

Check if you have a minidump. Access the c:\windows\minidump folder, copy the files to your desktop, then upload them to OneDrive or Google Drive and post the link here for analysis.

    Task Scheduler\ Task Scheduler Library\ Microsoft\ Windows\ PI\

    Click Secure Boot

    Right Click disable.

    Restart Computer. Bingo!

    I've found one possible solution and it's CR2032 sized little 3.0V lithium battery you need to replace with a new one on your motherboard.
