How to dispute a requested xbox refund

I put in a request to refund a game purchased on xbox. Request was submitted within acceptable boundaries. The reund was denied because I had "Used the service" i.e, played the game for 30 minutes and decided I wanted my money back. The AI assistant at the Xbox support website kept trying to point me to an email which does not, and has never existed within my inbox, Spam/junk folder, or deleted emails. Is there any way to dispute the denial with an actual person?

To dispute a denied refund request for a game purchased on Xbox, you can follow these steps:

    1. Contact Xbox Support Directly: Since you are having trouble with the AI assistant, try reaching out to Xbox Support directly through their contact page. You can explain your situation and request to speak with a representative who can assist you further.
    2. Provide Detailed Information: When you contact support, be sure to include all relevant details about your purchase, your refund request, and the reasons given for the denial. This will help the support team understand your case better.
    3. Check for Email Confirmation: If you were informed of the denial via email, ensure to check all folders in your email account, including spam and junk folders, as sometimes important emails can be misdirected.
    4. Follow Up: If you do not receive a response in a timely manner, follow up with Xbox Support to ensure your dispute is being addressed.
    5. Documentation: Keep records of all communications with Xbox Support, including dates and times, as this may be helpful if you need to escalate the issue.

If you continue to face difficulties, consider reaching out to community forums or support groups where other users may have shared similar experiences and solutions.
