Dear @Oberleitner, Ava Johansson,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum. I’m happy to assist you.
This issue may occur if your account is not fully validated for Azure for Students or Azure Dev Tools for Teaching, or if there is a mismatch in your school domain verification or subscription provisioning.
Please ensure that you have completed the Azure for Students sign-up and that your subscription is active. If the status is pending or failed, you may encounter access errors like the one you described.
Additionally, try signing out of all work/school accounts and retry in an InPrivate browser window, as region mismatches or cached credentials can sometimes block validation.
Since you cannot see the product key, contacting your school’s IT administrator is a good next step. Education accounts are managed by the school, and each institution has its own configuration.
Ask them to verify that your account is validated and that the appropriate license has been assigned. If everything appears correct but the issue persists, request that your IT administrator raise a support ticket with Microsoft.
For the most accurate and detailed assistance regarding your school-specific configuration, your IT team is best equipped to help. They have the necessary tools and access to your school's tenant, allowing them to provide precise guidance tailored to your environment.
The Global Admin can create a support ticket by sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Support > Help & Support.
For detailed instructions on how to get support, please refer to Get support - Microsoft 365 admin.
I hope this information is helpful. If you need any further assistance, please feel free to reach out. We are here to help. Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.
