A family of Microsoft products that enable users to capture, organize, and reuse notes electronically.
To sync OneNote between your phone and computer, ensure that the following steps are followed:
- Check Internet Connection: Make sure both your phone and computer are connected to the internet.
- Sign In with the Same Microsoft Account: Confirm that you are signed into OneNote on both devices with the same Microsoft account.
- Check Sync Status: On your computer, open OneNote and check the sync status. You can do this by selecting View Sync Status. If there are any errors, they will be displayed here.
- Force Sync: On your phone, you can try to force a sync by pulling down on the notebook list to refresh it. On the computer, you can also try to manually sync by selecting Sync All.
- Check for Updates: Ensure that both the OneNote app on your phone and the OneNote application on your computer are updated to the latest version.
- Restart Devices: Sometimes, simply restarting your phone and computer can resolve sync issues.
- Check for Errors: If you encounter specific error messages, such as "Content Not Yet Available," it may indicate that the content hasn't synced completely. In this case, wait a bit longer or check your internet connection.
If the issue persists, you may need to troubleshoot further based on specific error codes or messages you receive during the sync process.
