I need help changing administrator and deleting an old admin

I bought a new computer a while back and when I signed in to my Microsoft account it added the new computer as an additional one not replacing. I used the same email address but it has the old computer as admin and I cant navigate thru somethings because of that. I dont remember the password to the old computer and it is causing me some issues setting up new programs and things like that. Can you help?
