Hi Microsoft Support Team,

I recently received an email indicating that a payment of $8 was declined on my credit card. However, when I try to log in to my account to review or pay the invoice, I am unable to access the account due to a login issue.

My intention is to pay the outstanding amount and then cancel the subscription permanently, as I have not used this service for a long time and was not aware of any active usage.

Could you please assist me in:

Regaining access to my account, or

Providing an alternative way to settle the invoice and close the subscription?

I would appreciate your guidance on resolving this.

Thank you for your help,

To address your issue with the declined payment and account access, here are some steps you can take:

    1. Regain Account Access: If you're having trouble logging into your account, ensure that you are using the correct email address associated with your subscription. If you've forgotten your password, use the password recovery option provided on the login page. If you continue to experience issues, you may need to contact Microsoft support directly for assistance.
    2. Pay the Invoice: If you cannot access your account to pay the outstanding invoice, you may want to contact Microsoft support for alternative payment options. They can guide you on how to settle the invoice without logging into your account.
    3. Cancel the Subscription: Once you have settled the outstanding balance, you can proceed to cancel your subscription. If you regain access to your account, follow the cancellation steps outlined in the Microsoft 365 admin center. If you still cannot access your account, Microsoft support can assist you in canceling the subscription.

Make sure to have any relevant information ready when you contact support, such as your account details and the email regarding the declined payment.
