Cannot login to Azure Portal 2FA code not received after all attempts

Hi,

I am not able to login to the Azure Cloud portal as I am not receiving the 2FA code. I have tried alternate login options which again route to asking for code in the Authenticator app.

I have tried the following steps:-

Reset password using alternate email method

Turn 2FA off from Microsoft account settings (not portal)

Uninstall and Install Authenticator app

Tried from InPrivate Browsing (Incognito mode)

Restart mobile and laptop, signout from all accounts, no luck

Tried switching off the 2FA option from Microsoft account and Authenticator but doesn't help as Azure portal needs 2FA and I cant change it without logging in to the Azure portal

However I am able to login to my Microsoft account but not the azure portal as it keeps asking me the code send to authenticator app which I am not receiving after all above attempts.

Please suggest

The issue pertains to a tenant lockout, where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary permissions to re-register MFA.

To resolve this, we have engaged our Data Protection team through a support ticket. They will reach out to you via email or phone to help restore access to the tenant and assist in resolving the issue.
