Dragon NaturallySpeaking 16.0 has random command dysfunction after the Windows 11 January 9, 2026 update. for example, when you use the "wake up"command it turns the microphone off. this is a major problem for me as a quadriplegic which cannot click the button back on. there are other random problems. I tried uninstalling the update, reinstalling Dragon, and re-creating a new profile in Dragon. certain items of the update or not uninstalling as there are visual differences even after uninstalling. what can I do?

Anthony 0 Reputation points2026-03-25T14:02:45.0066667+00:00 I’m sorry this is happening to you, it’s the same across the board I’m being told version 16 is legacy software even though they are pushing the sales. I paid 300+ for software I can’t use on windows 11. I was forced back to windows 10 and use version 15 and it’s far more stable. I have little hope they’ll fix it it’s been a mess since I bought 16 I wish I didn’t buy it. They want everyone on the cloud version and it’s not the same as the desktop version I’ll never use it. I depend on this software to work.
