To remove tenant that are tied to my personal account

Hi,

i want to remove the tenant that appear in my personal email that i worked with previously. however, i cannot delete or leave the tenant. when i click on leave tenant, it brings me to a login page and i cant enter my personal email as it requires me to enter work accounts. i cant do anything now. can someone please on this issue?

I would try leaving the tenant through Microsoft Teams. Please open up Microsoft Teams. Then click onto the ellipsis icon (...) next to your name.

Then click onto 'Settings'

Then click onto 'Accounts & Orgs'

Then click onto the 'Leave org' icon

This should allow you to leave the org.

If that doesn't work. Please ask the IT administrator for that tenant to sign into their tenant here: https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/ActiveDirectoryMenuBlade

Then click onto 'Users' and your account. Then remove you from their tenant.

The issue pertains to a tenant lockout, where no other global admin in the tenant has the necessary permissions to do changes

To resolve this, we have engaged our Data Protection team through a support ticket. We will share the case ID on teams, They will reach out to you via email or phone to help restore access to the tenant and assist in resolving the issue.
