I've requested and was approved for the extension of my non-profit Azure grant, but when I view the sponsorship it shows "Sponsorship is not active."

My organizations non-profit Azure grant was set to expire on January 5th. I renewed the grant on December 22nd, and got the email confirming the grant was extended. On January 5th, I got the email stating that the account was being converted to a pay-as-you-go account instead of the new grant. When I view the Microsoft Azure Sponsorship portal, it's showing me "Sponsorship is not active.".

If I go back to the non-profit hub and attempt to view the Azure grant, it tells me "Congratulations! The Azure grant has been approved. You will now see the $2,000 (USD) grant when you log into the Azure services portal.", with the start date of Dec 22nd, 2025, End date Dec 22nd, 2026.

I've opened a support request but since this is a non-profit account I'm still waiting for a response. Has anyone run into this before and if so what had to be done to resolve?

Verify Grant Assignment: In the Azure portal, go to Subscriptions and see if the non-profit sponsorship grant is listed as the active subscription. If you see the old subscription type listed as active, you might need to manually switch or unlink the expired one.

Account Ownership: Confirm that the user account you're logging in with is still listed as an "owner" or "administrator" for the non-profit grant. Sometimes permissions can get out of sync during the renewal process.
