Hi,
The question is, what is the native resolution of one of the monitors? If it's full HD, both exceed the limit.
Try testing with different video inputs.
Thanks

Hello!
I am trying to extend the screen on my Windows 10 PC, i can duplicate but when extending both screens, they revert to show only the background image (no desktop icons) and the toolbar on both screens. The pc will let me click and will behave as if applications are being opened and viewed but nothing shows on screen, just the background desktop image continues to show - even settings or task manager cannot be reached (i have to blindly scroll though the windows + P command to return).
The screens are attached via a HDMI splitter with its own power source (no problem with this on identical PC next door)
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the display driver (NVDIA GeForce GT 710)
Microsoft Windows Version 22HS
KB5072653 & KB5071959 is the number on the most recent 2 updates
The two monitors plugged in are identical in size and brand.
Please help!

It is not possible to use extended screens with an HDMI splitter. For extended display you must have 2 discrete video outputs.
