I am blocked by error AADSTS5000225: “This tenant has been blocked due to inactivity.”

Impact:

  • Visual Studio 2022 cannot associate my app with Microsoft Store (sign-in fails)
  • Azure portal sign-in fails
  • Partner Center loads but support cases flash and disappear
  • Support case details cannot be accessed
  • Tenant context cannot be resolved

This is NOT a Visual Studio issue. This is an Azure Entra (Azure AD) tenant state issue.

The tenant appears to be soft-disabled/inactive and requires manual reactivation by Microsoft Directory Operations.

Request:

Please route this to Azure Entra / Directory Operations team for tenant reactivation. This is blocking all development and store publishing workflows.

In Partner Center, my support cases appear briefly and then disappear, and attempting to open them results in “There was a problem retrieving the support request details.”
