    Hello @Manoj Dwivedi,

Thank you for posting your valuable question on Microsoft Q&A forum.

Microsoft does provide a native solution for cross‑tenant SharePoint migration through the Cross‑Tenant Shared Data Migration feature. This solution allows administrators to migrate SharePoint Online sites and related content from one Microsoft 365 tenant to another using Microsoft‑supported migration APIs, without data leaving the Microsoft cloud.

However, there are several important requirements and limitations that must be met before this feature can be used, such as:

    • The Cross‑Tenant Shared Data Migration feature and licenses are currently available only to Enterprise Agreement (EA) customers.
    • Migration licenses must be purchased separately and are calculated per 100 GB of SharePoint data migrated.
    • Both source and target tenants must meet strict security, identity, and configuration prerequisites (cross‑tenant trust, permissions, PowerShell setup, tenant readiness).
    • The migration process is one‑time only (no incremental or delta passes), and some components such as Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and classic workflows are not supported.

For your reference: Cross-tenant SharePoint site migration overview - Microsoft 365 Enterprise | Microsoft Learn

Since you have submitted this question under the Education tag, licensing eligibility and feature availability can vary depending on how your tenant is provisioned (Education subscription vs Enterprise Agreement).

For this reason, I strongly recommend contacting Microsoft Support Team for further help:

    • They can verify whether your Education tenant is eligible for Cross‑Tenant Shared Data Migration under your current licensing model.
    • They can confirm license availability and purchasing options, which cannot be done through the admin portal alone.
    • They provide guided, step‑by‑step assistance, including validation of prerequisites and required PowerShell commands.
    • Cross‑tenant migration is a multi‑stage process involving advanced configuration and scripting, and an incorrect setup can cause migration failures or data access issues.
    • Microsoft Support can advise whether alternative Microsoft‑supported approaches apply if EA‑based migration is not available for your tenant.

    To contact Microsoft Support:

    • Find your Microsoft 365 admin: If you don't know who the global admin is in your organization, you can find guidance here: How can I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support
    • Submit a service request: The Global Administrator should create a support request with Microsoft to receive advanced technical assistance. For detailed instructions, see: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn
    • If your organization's Office 365 Business/Education subscription is from a partner or reseller, and the global administrator is unable to open a service request on your end, contact the reseller's support provider to help open a service request on behalf of you instead.

Due to the complexity, licensing dependency, and number of technical steps involved, engaging Microsoft Support early will ensure you receive accurate guidance, reduced risk, and appropriate support for your tenant‑to‑tenant SharePoint migration.

If you need further assistance, feel free to reply. I'm here and happy to help. Wishing you a successful day ahead!
