Stock prices are not refreshing in Microsoft Excel 365. Does Microsoft have a tele# to complain?

This has been ongoing for days now and seems to be a global issue. To say the least - this happening at a year-end and not being attended to and resolved immediately with the highest criticality is very unproffessional, I'd even call it arrogant on Microsoft's side. Go fix - now!

This is really making life difficult - has anyone tried "Wisesheets" ?? Would it be working now while Microsoft quotes are not working? Answering my own question 24 hours later: Wisesheets does work and I'm using it temporarily as Microsoft quotes now down for 3 days. I thought MS would be much more reliable - very disappointing. And communications from MS have been miserable.

This is now day 3 of Stock Prices not refreshing in Excel 365. I did chat with a representative through the Chat option, and he stated that this is a known issue and they did not have any information on when it would be fixed.

There appears as if Microsoft is not actually answering the question of when or if the Stock servers will ever be working properly again. This list of questions and comments only seem to be a means to allow Microsoft users a place to post things that may not ever be answered or fixed. Is there another means for users to talk to a human using a chat box or an actual phone?

I'm still having the same issue for a number of days. Must be a major Bo Bo if it has taken this long to fix. I've wasted a lot of time trying to fix my computer because I thought the problem was local machine.

Yep - I too have wasted a lot of time on this.

MS Quotes still not working after 4 days. My workaround has been to install StockConnector and Wisesheets and set up my spreadsheets to select among MS, StockConnect, and Wisesheets to keep my spreadsheets up to date.

So far, so good.

Same thing here today for USA - East Coast. No updates. Rebooted. All other websites and logins are fine. Just Microsoft's stock update system is down.

Update is now working, but adding fields (Add columns) from the stock name (i.e. price, 52 week high etc ) isn't. Just created a new sheet with a couple of stock names to test, I can't add these additional fields...... something that was working well

Interesting...... Came back to the same sheet, and its now working, including adding the columns. Had to restart Excel.

I have created a backup for all my Excel sheets in Google Sheets as the Stock function has been known to have long outages in the past. Given the lack of transparency by anyone within support - it is possible MSFT will abandon this feature as it has with other Data types in the past. It is relatively painless and have never experienced an outage with Google. =GOOGLEFINANCE("NYSEARCA:"&A7,"price") ....... Formulas follow this type of format.
