    Hi,

What are you trying to do that you

need to copy Windows to a USB?

Most of us either mount the ISO file,

then right click and run setup.

Or we use Rufus to create a bootable

    USB.

To copy Windows files to a USB drive, you may encounter permission issues with the TrustedInstaller account, which is a built-in Windows account that manages permissions for system files. Here are a few steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Take Ownership: You can take ownership of the files you want to copy. Right-click on the file or folder, select Properties, go to the Security tab, and click on Advanced. From there, you can change the owner to your user account.
    2. Use Administrative Command Prompt: Run Command Prompt as an administrator. Right-click on the Start button, select Command Prompt (Admin) or Windows PowerShell (Admin), and then try to copy the files again using the command line.
    3. Disable User Account Control (UAC): Temporarily disabling UAC might help, but be cautious as this can expose your system to security risks.
    4. Check Permissions: Ensure that your user account has the necessary permissions to access the files. You can modify permissions in the Security tab of the file properties.

If you are still having trouble, consider using third-party tools that can help with file copying and permission management.
