Good afternoon,

I hope someone can help me on this forum, because all attempts to talk to Microsoft operators have failed. Ten days ago, my Microsoft account was converted to a 'local account', and back to Microsoft (on the same day) when I realised that the new account is completely blank, nothing synced, and the Windows user from the old account is no longer recognised. I took online ownership through the new account (although I am using the same email address), but I cannot find the most important folders. Is there anything else I can do to recover all my work, please? I looked for guidance on the Microsoft website, even from ChatGPT and Copilot, but it didn't work. I really appreciate any help you can provide.

    Hello D M, thanks for posting this in the community. If you previously used OneDrive, try signing in at onedrive.com to check if your files were synced. There’s a good chance you’ll be able to recover them from there.
